Our Turn!!!
After a long crazy day of running around to see family we eventually make it back home to have OUR Christmas. This last year we didn't get home until about 10:30 so we were a little pooped, but not too pooped to open up gifts. That's just crazy talk! Landon spoiled me this year. He got me some clothes, a super cute apron (I am modeling that for you all in some of the pics), and a vinyl sticker for my photography business that goes on the car window. I got him some new ties and socks that he ALWAYS needs, a camo pack for riding, and a poo log book. lol That's right, I said poo log. It's an inside joke we have. If you come to our house be prepared to take your turn logging in the poo log. ;-) We usually put together a stocking for Mia, but we didn't really have time this year with me having my foot surgery so we let her go to town on one of the wrapping paper rolls that we ran out of. She couldn't have been happier! You can get her to do all kinds of tricks when she really wants something she usually can't have. As you can see she has quite the jump. Once she has a hold of something she lays down, holds it in her paws like she has hands and goes to town. We had a great Christmas this year. With my surgery I was a little less mobile and didn't really feel the best throughout it all, but we still enjoyed getting to spend time together and with our families.

Yet another Xmas post
It has become a tradition that we make our way back to Britt and Tom's on Christmas night to have dinner with all us siblings and Landon's Grandma and Grandpa Smellie. This year Sandy came along because her husband had her kids. It was great to have her. Britt and Tom put so much effort into this dinner. Britt is the most creative in the family and is great at hosting cute things like this. She makes us our own place setting at the table with our name and has everything decorated so cute. We all ate too much as usual and didn't have enough room for pie. lol Thanks Britt and Tom for hosting! :-)

The Xmas Festivities Never End!!!
After our long day of running around on Xmas day we make our way back to Debbie's to have our time to open gifts with her before we go to dinner at Britt and Tom's. This year we got there as Heather, Steve and Jack were finishing up. I am always excited to see what Debbie is going to give us. She always puts so much thought into every gift. I love gift cards, don't get me wrong, but when you open up each of Debbie's gifts you see how personalized it is just for you. Thanks for making each holiday so special Deb!

Larkin Xmas party
My mom has this fabulous club house that is in her neighborhood for people to rent. It has been such a nice thing to have since we are not getting any smaller as a family and no one has a big enough house to accomodate all of us now. It's been especially nice because it gives more of a reason to all get together more often. I am very blessed to know my second cousins and great aunts and uncles so well. We don't just see each other once a year at Christmas parties like this, but randomly throughout the year as well. Thanks mom and Tim for providing us with a place to grow closer as a family. :-) Love you!
