Easter

This Easter Michelle was staying at her sister Cindy's for a few days. Every time Michelle is in town I try my hardest to make time to see her because those times are too far and few in between. Uncle Isaac was in town. It's been a few years since I have seen him last so I was so glad I got to see him. And I finally got to meet Rachel's beautiful daughter Penelope. She's gorgeous just like her momma. I was lucky enough to get to see Michelle and my brother Nick on the same visit. Nicholas brought his cute new girlfriend who he was hoping to get my approval for. She passed with flying colors! She's a sweetheart and her daughter is cute as a button. I don't think there are many people who are as loving and inviting as this family is. I love this side of my family. And family is what they will always be. xoxo

Fun with our furry chocolate

For the last four years we have been parents to our chocolate ball of fur. No, we don't have kids yet, but she has been our baby. The aren't many things Mia likes more than going to the park. You only have to ask her once if she wants to go to the park and she has high tailed it to the closet door where we keep her leash. She hates when we have her in the Escape without the seats down. She mopes and whines pretty much the whole drive. Our little princess. lol I think that most of my family would say that sounds like familiar behavior. ;-) This was our first trip to the park with her after all the snow had melted away. Spring had finally arrived!!! Now we are almost back to winter. We are hoping that we will be able to breed Mia sometime next year. So, if any of you are in the market for your own little ball of chocolate fur hold off for just a few more months!

43 years young!

My daddio turned 43 years young this year. When you look at pictures of him you will see why I say years young. My dad is a stud and one of my most favorite people in this whole world. It never fails that whenever I am with him I laugh so hard my cheeks and stomach ache. This year we took my pa to Boondocks for some fun. We played some video games (I beat Landon at all of them ;-) ), played laser tag (I had the high score on our team ;-) ), and did some bowling (my dad kicked our trash every game!). We had fun getting to be like kids again. I love you poopa! XOXO

Cabin Fever

I guess I have forgotten how many fun things we have got to do this year. It was apparently our year for traveling. I am glad I decided to do all my behind blogging to remind me!
Carlye's family has a cabin in Midway that I hadn't been to since we were beasty teenagers. The end of March she invited us, Holly and Kimball (2 kids Mia and Aiden), and Jen and Adam. Holly and I have known each other since elementary, but didn't become close friends until about the same time Carlye and I did in junior high. Jen is one of Carlye and Holly's friends from choir. You would think it would be risky to get that many couples together that are all so different, but it was a delight. We all had a great time. We played some fun games, jammed out to guitar hero, shopped, and all us girls stayed up late talking about the good ol' days. I love spending time with some of my long kept friends. Thanks Carlye and Tim for hosting a fun weekend at the Morgan cabin! : )
