Nothing like riding in the rain

Landon and I were bound and determined to go riding. When the day came for us to go the sky was full of clouds. We didn't let that discourage us. Up the mountain we went! We rode out the rain then the rain that turned into hail. We parked on a ledge and waited out the storm. We may have been muddy and freezing cold by the end of it all, but we got our ride. :-)

Sunsets Fill You With Warmth

Here is another one of our many drives up Farmington. I had never been up to the towers so Landon wanted to take me. I love how standing in this spot we were at you could look forward and see the beautiful Salt Lake valley at sunset. And behind you see the tiny town of Morgan. What a blessing it is for us to have so much beauty surrounding us in Utah from every angle.

As per tradition for the 4th of July we got together with the Patane's at Debbie's after the Kaysville Parade to eat some food then head to Davis High to watch fireworks. Landon and I couldn't make it to the parade this year because he was working and I was preparing a fruit feast. This year was a little different also because Debbie was in a new town home. One that wasn't right on Main Street. But, it's not important where the party is...it's about who shows up to the party:-)

Eclipse Premier

On June 29th I had my buddy ol' pal Carlye Ann accompany me to the premier of Eclipse. Audrey was sweet enough to get us tickets from the event she was helping with. We were some of the first people to get to see it! Yeah, we're kind of a big deal. Carlye had bought a festive shirt for our night of fun and I couldn't be the odd one out! So, we stopped by the local Shopko and picked up a twiner shirt for me. The shirts were a great idea until we realized that the sparkles were not to fond of staying on the shirt. By the end of the night it looked like we had both taken a container of pepper and poured it on our faces. lol The sparkles we were picking out of our teeth that night were worth the memory :)

Proving that we've still got it ;-)
