Some Of Our Fav Shows

We have the great luxury of having DVR. It has made our TV experience a lot more enjoyable. We don't have to watch any commercials and never have to worry about missing any episodes of our favorite shows. It's magical.
That 70's Show
is watched the most because there are
always reruns on.
Fringe
We started watching this mostly
because I think Joshua Jackson
is wonderful eye candy. It's
now turned into one of our favs.

Grey's Anatomy

Mcdreamy and Meredith-who doesn't love it?

Flip This House

We've actually learned a lot from this show

Private Practice

Not as good as Grey's, but still good

October Road

I hope this one comes back

American Idol

What are we on? Season 98? LOL Love it!

The Secret Life of the American Teenager

Reality.

Strike!

A few days ago a bunch of us from Verizon got together and went bowling at Fat Cats. One of my co-workers, Josh, are getting married so we all went out to celebrate with him and his fiance'. We went to the new Fat Cats in Ogden. Landon and I hadn't had the chance to see all the new fun things to do there in Ogden until that night. They have surfing, rock climbing, sky diving and lots more! Fat Cats was huge and they had all the disco lights and black lights on. We split up into three teams and played for about 2 hours. It was a ton of fun! It wasn't my most successful night of bowling, but it was still fun. :-) It's so nice to work with people who you can be friends with and do fun things like this. We've been playing volleyball with a group of friends from work for the past few months. We go to Barnes Park about once a week and play for a few hours. It's a really good time. We are thankful for all these new friendships we have built :-) Thanks Verizon!

Mia and Moosey's House

Thursday was both Landon and my day off. We were going to have my friend Carlye take some pics for us, but the weather wasn't looking so great. So, instead we made a trip to Lowe's and picked up stuff to build a dog house. We have been looking for a dog house for a while now and haven't found one that was cheap enough or built like we want. So, the building began! Landon did most of the beginning work while I kept the dogs company. We almost finished it. We still need to put insulation on the sides, put siding on, and nail the shingles on. We were worried that it wouldn't be big enough for the two large pups, but after both Landon and I were able to sit inside it we figured it was big enough. :-)

My Birthday Paradise

All I wanted for my birthday this year was to go camping. We wanted to go all year and haven't been able to find time. The one time we tried to go this year we found 4 to 5 feet of snow in all the places we could have camped. :-( So, we were very excited to FINALLY get out of the city and share some time with each other and nature. We had such a great time. We got up there about 3 on Friday, my birthday, and got everything set up. We did a lot better packing this time than the last time we "tried" to go camping. And we bought this big new tent the beginning of this year that we got to try out for the first time. Landon used his boyscout skills and built us a perfect little fire to cook our tinfoil dinners on. I won't lie, they were absolutley fantastic. For those of you who use cream of chicken soup you should give broccolli cheese soup a try. It was mAgIcaL! Then of course we had to make the famous campfire smores. Yum! We brought up our DVD player to watch movies while we went to bed at night. I had thought I was charging the DVD player the whole day before, but it was on the wrong setting and didn't charge it at all. So, less than half way through the movie it shut off. We got some blankets and headed up to the car to watch the rest of it, while having it plugged into the car. :-) The next day we woke up and ate some cereal for breakfast and took the dogs on a little adventure. It was Moosey's first time in the mountains so you can only imagine how excited and curious he was. Mia always has a great time when we take her out like that so they were both like two little kids hyped up on a pound of sugar. We drove up to a pretty pond we know of and let the dogs run around and get dirty. We finally got Mia to swim!!!~~~~~~~ She is a real lab now! :-) We were very proud parents. Moosey on the other hand was a little prissy dog and would barely go in past the middle of his legs. That's okay though. We love them for those little differences. Landon would throw a stick out far enough in the water where Mia barely couldn't touch so she'd have to swim the rest of the way to get it. Then Moose would be waiting for her on the beach ready to take the stick from Mia. Mia is a good big sister. She'd let Moose take it and bring it to us, taking all the glory, without too much of a fuss. It is so beautiful up there right now, especially at those ponds. I got to take some pretty pictures. Landon always says that I spend too much time taking pics and not enough time paying attention to him. lol After our adventure at the ponds we got the wet and very dirty dogs back in the Escape and headed back to camp. We were planning on staying that night also, but when we got back we saw and heard the gray rumbling clouds rowling in. We didn't want to have to pack all our stuff up the next day soaking wet so we hurry and packed up everything in the escape in about fifteen minutes. Even though the trip was cut short we were so glad we were able to go. I couldn't think of a better way to spend my birthday, in the beautiful mountains with the man that I love. :-) The best way to explain this adventure is....MY BIRTHDAY PARADISE.

Happy B-day to ME!

The big 23! Wow! A lot of people seem to dread getting older. The way I have always looked at it is your age is just a number. You decide how old you are. You're only as old as you make yourself. Why wouldn't I be happy about getting older? I am 23, married to a perfect husband, have a beautiful home, two pups and many years ahead of me to raise a family. :-) We're off to go camping so I'll give you all the details when we get back! Have a splendid weekend!

Red, Red, & More Red

Last weekend we all head up to Landon's grandma and grandpa Smellie's to take family pictures. Each one of Landon's mom's siblings families had to wear a certain color. We orginally got baby blue, but it was a bit difficult for us all to find something we all liked in light blue. So, we ended up wearing red. Landon and I went up early to go relax at a park. We laid a blanket out, ate some lunch, watched a movie and took a nap. It was so nice to get to do something like that together. We never really have time where we just relax like that. Here are some fun pics to share the family fun!
