The Stages of Breaking Dawn Continues....

Stage Two:

Britt and I didn't want to show up to the Barnes and Noble party in just a random shirt and pants. So, we made this fancy shirts to show our dedication.

Stage 3:

You should have been there to enjoy the maddness of about 3,000 woman all crowded outside the Barnes and Noble waiting to get their copy of Breaking Dawn. Think of all these woman and now think of all these woman crowded together in about 80 degrees. I thought there was a good chance there was going to be some fatalities, but everyone survived. :-)

Stage 4:

5 minutes left until we hold Breaking Dawn in our possession!!!!

Stage 5:

My friend Heidi came over to my house after we got the books so that we could all enjoy the first few chapter of Breaking Dawn together. I will have to get the cute picture from Brittney of all of us sitting on my bed with our books, getting ready to read. :-) So exciting!

Stage 6: 5:00 a.m.

Yes, we really did stay up until 5 in the morning reading as much as our bodies would allow us to. Even being asleep we couldn't let it go. lol

Brittney and I read the rest of the book together. We finished the book last night at about midnight. I don't want to spoil it for anyone who hasn't read it. So, if you have leave me a comment and post me your favorite part. Then I will know you have read it too and then I can leave you a message. :-)

Stage One.......Wrist Bands

ONE more day until BREAKING DAWN is here!!!! Me and Brittney went and stood in line at 7 am to make sure we'd get a wrist band for the book. One of her dance girls was there and was pretty close to the front so she let us stand with her. We ended up being in the group of the first hundred people in line!!! We got wrist bands that say Bella. :-) We'll see you all there tomorrow to get our books!

Memory Lane

The Memory Post

1. As a comment on my blog, leave a memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember!

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll be sure to write one about you.

3. If the memory happens to involve my husband, please include them!

4. If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all. :-)

And please do this on your page too, so we can all share in the fun times together :)

A Photographer in Progress

Also with my love for writing I love to take pictures. It is a dream of mine to someday have my own photography business. A picture captures all those special moments you want to hold onto. Who doesn't want to be a part of that? :-) This is a work in progress, but here are some of the pics I have taken.

Dedicated To My Husband

Landon is the most hard working person I know. His mom has told me that he has always been a hard worker, but I think that he stepped it up a few notches when we got married. He has been working with Verizon for about three years now and has dedicated SO much time to proving himself worthy for a management position. An opportunity arouse for a management position at the store he was at and he got it. It was a great feeling knowing that for those three years of sacrificing his energy and our time it finally paid off for us. He has missed numerous family activities and church calling opportunities for this big break. He has worked an unbelievable amount of overtime to even be considered for the position. And finally after three years I have finally realized why he has done all of it, why he has sacrificed so much. He has done it for us and for our future family. He is the hardest working man I know and I couldn't be more proud of him. I am the luckiest woman in the world to have him as my husband. :-) I love you sweetheart!

A New Fashion Statement.....My Boot

Isn't it beautiful? I think it looks exceptional fabulous with a knee length skirt. I know you all are wanting one so here is how you get your hands on your own boot. You must walk out of your sister-in-laws house, not pay attention to where you are going, step in a pot hole, twist your ankle, and visit your local pediatrist. And that is how it happened. After I had twisted my ankle inwards I figured it was only going to be a minor sprain. Well, a week later it still hurt and I was still walking like a gimp so I went to the doctor's yesterday. They did an Xray then the pediatrist showed me where I have an extra bone in my foot that only one in a thousand people have. This bone has been trying to merge itself with another bone in my foot and it was being connected by a tendon that runs from that bone up my leg. Apparently I seperated the tendon from the bone when I twisted my foot. He told me I would have serious damage to my foot if I didn't spend three weeks walking with the lovely ten pound, gray, eye sore. You know you want one! :-)

The Path

I have always had a love for writing. I am not all that great at it, but sometimes something worth reading comes out of it. This poem is one of my favorites because I wrote it for Landon. When Landon and I got married I had my friend Kelli read this poem at our ring ceremony. I hope you like it.

The Path
A new day to live
A different path to explore
Dreams to seek
Behind each closed door
So much to be done
Many feelings to grow
Lessons to learn
Places to go
Through each passing day
I want you by my side
I want you as a lover
A friend and a guide
Together we'll have
Some good times and bad
Some things will make us happy
others will make us sad
No matter what happens
With each tear or mistake
Each moment will be
A memory we'll make
Even through our troubles
The won'ts, can's, and will's
We can make it over any mountain
Across any river and over the hills
I want to share my thoughts
My pain and my strife
I want to share my secrets
My dreams and my life
I want to give you
All the love in my heart
I can't wait for my life
With you to start
