Happy 26th Birthday Landon!
Landon's 26th birthday was on Saturday. The only thing either of us ever want for our birthdays is just TAKE TIME OFF. We both took of Friday-Monday off. I asked Landon what he wanted to do and he said all he wanted to do was RELAX. That is exactly what we have done. Friday we had a combined birthday party with our brother-in-law Tommy. We had a few of each of their friends come over to play Xbox. As usual we ended up playing into the late hours of the night or I guess you could say the early hours of the morning. LOL I think they had a good time. The next morning I let Landon sleep in while I got up and made him some breakfast. My mom called us on Friday night and had asked us if we'd want to go stay in a condo in Park City they had been remodeling for my step dad's boss. So, after we ate breakfast on Saturday morning we got packed and headed to Park City. The condo was right by the Alpine Slide. Landon and I have not spent a night in a hotel with just the two of us since our honeymoon so we were excited to have this fun getaway. The condo wasn't the nicest thing in the world, but it was very nice for a free night stay. :-) It had a full kitchen, spiral stairs that lead up to a loft, a big screen tv, a fireplace, and a huge bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. When we first got to Park City we dropped our stuff off and headed to the Tanger Outlets to do some shopping. Landon found a few shirts and I found a baseball cap. After shopping we were starving so we went to our favorite mexican food restaurant there called Baja Cantina. It was delicious as usual. Then we headed back to the condo to relax. We got in the jacuzzi tub then just chilled the rest of the night on the couch watching a movie. The next morning we headed home. We got home and took a nice long nap. Then Britt and Tom came over to watch a movie and play a little Xbox. Today we took our time getting up. Landon wanted to spend some of his birthday money on his truck so we headed down to the Pick n' Pull junk yard in Salt Lake. I really liked getting to do something with Landon that he really enjoys. We had a great time. That's the best thing about us. We can be doing the most simpliest thing together and still have a good time. We ended up getting a good find on a new seat for his truck. It is in really good shape which is rare at a junk yard. When we got home I started helping him put the new one in, but I wasn't much help and honestly got a little chilly so I came in to blog and he is still out there workin' away. We had a great weekend together. I cherish these times we get to have together. I hope you had a good birthday sweetheart! Love you more than you know!

25 Random Things
There is this 25 Random Things post going around so I thought that I would share my 25.
1- I am terrified of big bodies of water. I didn't even get in the ocean once while we were on our honeymoon in Mexico.
2-I have to check behind the shower curtain almost every time I go in the bathroom to see if someone is hiding in there. LOL I'm paranoid, I know.
3- I organize all my clothes in my closet by color.
4- I have had only one sip of a carbonated beverage in three years!
5- If I were drinking carbonation wild cherry pepsi would be my drink of choice. I do miss it badly sometimes!
6- My favorite thing to do on a day off with my hubby is drive around and look at old houses.
7- I have a horrible habit of biting the inside of my cheek.
8- My hands are ALWAYS cold. Bad circulation runs in my family.
9- If there were one thing I could change about myself I'd change my legs.
10- This March will be my fourth anniversary for coming back to church. :-)
11- I still have not printed off any of my wedding pictures and we have been married for 2 1/2 years.
12- I would rather eat pizza the next day cold.
13- One of my biggest passions is learning to play a musical instrument.

15- I have never broken a bone.
16- I graduated from Salt Lake Community College with my AAS(Associate of Applied Science) degree before I graduated from West Jordan High School. (Sorry, Jen. I had to use that one too) :-)
17- I can sleep SO much better when my house is clean.
18- One movie I could watch over and over again is Sweet Home Alabama.
19- Unlike most wives, I get along very well with my mother-in-law. I actually lived with her for about 2 1/2 months before Landon and I got married.
20- I am still friends with someone I have known since the 3rd grade.
21- One of my favorite things to do on a Sunday afternoon is sit on my couch in my living room with the window slightly open, letting the sun shine in, while reading a book or writing in my journal.
22- No matter how tired Landon and I are before going to bed we give each other a kiss and say I love you and good night.
23- Before my mom and dad got divorced we lived in Pheonix, Arizona.
24- I have had my hair as long as the middle of my back and as short as 2 1/2 inches all over.

The Bachelor
I have been really into the Bachelor this season. The Bachelor was one of the guys who wasn't chosen on the Bachelorette. He is a good catch. The Bachelorette is of course NOT with the other guy she chose and will be appearing on this season's Bachelor to tell him she made a mistake. I would say that there would be no way that he would choose her, but after he sent home my favorite girl on the show last week anything could happen. Since Jillian is gone that only leaves Molly and Melissa. I think between the two of them I see him most with Molly just because he has liked her so much since the beginning and he didn't get to meet Melissa's family. The finale won't be on for two weeks! Who do all of you think he will choose????? Melissa, Molly or Deonna?
Has it really been ten years?
Last night I went and hung out with one of my BFF's that I have known for almost ten years. Back in junior high we were connected at the hip. I pretty much lived at her house. I was a part of her family. After high school we went our separate ways for a little while, but were shortly back in touch. We picked up right where we left off. Last night we got the chance to hang out with just the two of us. We went to an endowment session at the Bountiful Temple and then went and got some grub. We reminisced on some of our younger years. We have been through a lot together. And last night reminded me how much I miss spending time with my good pal Carlye. :-) I had a lot of fun catching up on old times! Lets do it again soon!
Happy Valentine's Day
So, Landon and I have never been huge fans of the overrated holiday we call Valentine's Day. We are not love haters we just don't like going out with all the rest of the world and waiting hours at restuarants or spending tons of money on useless gifts. I am not much of a flower girl. I know, you think I'm crazy. I would much rather us save that $50-$100 we'd spend on something that would die in a week and spend it on something like a fun day out. So every year we buy some treats, rent a good flick and just spend some time together. This year I worked until 9:30 and we both had to work the next day so we started watching a movie and fell asleep half way through. LOL We're so lame. Landon did go against our V day rule and bought me something. He got me my newest favorite treat, ALMONDS! Thanks babe! I love you!

Super Bowl XLIII!
For the Super Bowl this year we all headed out to Gregg and Denise's house. As usual, there was tons of food. We all ate tons of food and watched the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Arizona Cardinals 27-23. It was such a close game! The Cardinals were trailing behind until their receiver, Larry Fitzgerald brought them back in the game. It was right down to the wire and they were head to head. Then with about 25 seconds left in the game the Steelers running back, Mewelde Moore catches the winning pass. Congrats Steelers! The commercials and half time are usually the best part about the Super Bowl, but not so much this year. The commercials were amature and The Boss for half time, come on! LOL Thanks Gregg and Nec for hosting a fun party!

Another Cosmo Reunion
There are a few of us girls from Cosmetology that like to get together every few months. Lisa is usually the one who is very proactive in planning it all and making it happen. Four of the girls had some big news we had to celebrate so we thought it was about time we have one of our famous girl's nights. So, Friday night we all went over to Nicole's stinkin' cute condo. We had everyone bring a game to play, but we knew that we'd most likely just gab the whole time. ;-) And that is exactly what we did. Two of our friends are getting married (congrats Abby and Kelly!) and two of them are prego (congrats Lisa and Trista!) so we had plenty to catch up on. We had a great time as always. Even after being out of Cosmo for almost five years and we all still keep in touch. I am very thankful to still have them all as friends. :-) Lets get together again soon girls! Thanks for letting us have it at your house Nicole!
